One of the two main characters is Marinette whose alter ego is the super hero Ladybug. Although there are quite a few characters that are important to the storyline. In my mind main characters are the ones that the show or storyline can't continue without. Which is why for me there are really only 2 main characters in this show.

Marinette is your typical teenager. I've been in many forums and discussion groups for Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. I see a lot of people questioning how oblivious Marinette and some of the other characters are to obvious things. I know that in a show things are exaggerated for the sake of the storyline. I think that needs to be kept in mind but also that some people watching the show need to view it from their teenager lens. I know as a teen I was oblivious to a lot of stuff. Now when I look back I smack my forehead and laugh because it seems so obvious.

At first she is a bit reluctant to become Ladybug. Especially when she makes a mistake, she starts to doubt herself. She believes she isn't strong enough or doesn't know enough to assume the role. Eventually though she does step into the role and I think Ladybug has helped Marinette. The Marinette character has changed from some of the lessons she learns while being Ladybug. She is a bit more bold and able to stand up for herself.

Marinette has a big heart and is kind, friendly and loving to all her friends. She's got a crush on the new boy in her class Adrien. In maddening fashion she is oblivious to the fact that Adrien is the super hero Cat Noir. Who she fights alongside daily against super villians. Oblivious even though the super hero outfit and mask do very little to disguise his appearance. Even though his voice as Cat Noir and as Adrien is the exact same. Marinette tries to let Adrien know how she feels about him but each time she mumbles and mixes up her words in spectacular fashion. There are many hints in the show that Marinette and Adrien will be together. Master Fu the holder of the Miraculous said himself that they are meant to be together. Ladybug and Cat Noir who is Adrien's super hero alter ego always pound fists and say "pound it" after beating a super villian. In one episode Marinette's parents triumph and bump fists saying "pound it" an obvious hint to me. Yet another hint Andre Glacier who has been creating couples by serving them ice creams based on their heart's true desires. He served Marinette's parent's ice cream on a date. He saw Marinette and Adrien were made for each other and served Adrien ice cream representational of Marinette. They weren't there together so they are not aware of this. All these hints and others point to the fact that they will be together at some point in time.

Yet it's fun and funny to watch them bumble and miss each other's obvious signs of affection. All while harbouring feels for each other without knowing it. As a viewer I'm gunning for them to be a couple eventually. Slowly they get closer and closer but ofcourse it's not fast enough for most of us viewer. I get frustrated sometimes waiting for it to happen. Then I remind myself that once it does happen will there still be as much of a pull to watch the show? It is not the only point in the storyline but it is a major one.

This is the Miraculous blog of Ladybug and Cat Noir. The blog will follow the animated show "The Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir". I'll be going all the way back to the beginning and episode by episode talk about my thoughts on the show. I'll also blog about any easter eggs I notice or hints at what might happen in the future episodes of the show. I will also ponder on different scenarios of special future events that might happen.

What is "The Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir"? It's an animated super hero series that follows the lives of two teenagers, Marinette and Adrien, who live in Paris. The teenagers transform into the super heroes Ladybug and Cat Noir using Miraculous items. They were secretly given the Miraculous items by the holder of the Miracle box Master Fu. The Miracle box holds many other Miraculous items that give different super powers. The main villain of the show Hawk Moth, who uses a Miraculous himself, creates super villains. Ladybug and Cat Noir battle these super villains in order to keep all the citizens of Paris safe.

I feel like the show is mainly geared toward teens and has a heavy romantic element. However it can be enjoyed by all, young and old. In the show the main characters Marinette and Adrien are un-aware that their lives are inter-woven between each other. Marinette secretly, or not so secretly lol, has a crush on Adrien. While Adrien sees Marinette as a good friend and has a crush on Ladybug, her alter ego. Neither of them know the identity of the other super hero which makes the show all the more maddening. It is a great light hearted, super entertaining show and a great story.
